Often confused with Poison Ivy, Virginia Creeper has 5 leaflets to Poison Ivy’s 3. This beautiful but prolific vine can climb or, if given the opportunity, spread across an area as an aggressive ground cover. Best suited to fences and trellis use.

Does best in zones 3 – 9 in full to part shade. Virginia Creeper is not particular about soil, and it is a fast growing and salt tolerant vine that an reach heights of 30 feet or more. Not recommended for planting along buildings as it can be aggressive and difficult to remove once established.
