Euonymus: Color Splash for Season Long Interest (Winter Creeper)

Euonymus will give a splash of color to your landscape all season long keeping its brilliant color even in winter. The beautifully variegated foliage of Euonymus grows to a nicely mounded height of 18” to 24” making it small enough to be used in containers. Euonymus Winter Creeper may also be used as a groundcover, along the front of the border, or mixed in the perennial bed.

Planted in sun or partial shade, Euonymus is a low maintenance, disease resistant evergreen and has a slow growth rate. Prune Euonymus in late fall trimming out any green branches that may appear to keep the shrub predominantly variegated. Euonymus doesn’t tolerate extremely wet soil. Fertilize according to directions with an evergreen fertilizer in the spring.
