Syringa: (Reblooming Dwarf Lilac) Experience the Sweet Fragrance of Reblooming Lilac

A new take on a traditional favorite, Syringa offers generous blooms of fragrant lavender-purple flowers in spring then reblooms again in mid-summer and continues to frost. Bloomerang® Purple Lilac is a dwarf variety with a 4-5 feet mounded habit and is a great size for the small garden.

Syringa requires full sun and is resistant to powdery mildew and root rot. Prune to shape Syringa after the spring blooms and dead-head the mid-summer flowers to encourage re-blooming. Flower production may decline in the extreme heat of summer but will resume when the weather cools. Syringa may be planted in containers or in the perennial bed and is a deer resistant shrub.
