Microbiota: (Russian Cypress) Evergreen Color and Texture for Cool Climate Gardens

The evergreen color of Microbiota provides year-round color in full to part shade and gives great texture in the landscape. Deer and disease resistant, Russian Cypress is a hardy evergreen that fends off unsightly tip dieback and shifts to a reddish-brown color in the winter.

Microbiota has a low growing habit of 3-4 feet tall and wide and seldom requires pruning but may be trimmed to shape in the spring. Microbiota prefers a well-drained soil and is ideal for foundation plantings or in the mixed border.
