Hibiscus

Easy Care Summer Beauties (Rose of Sharon)

For those who love relaxing in the hot summer weather Hibiscus is the shrub for you. From midsummer through fall, easy to maintain Rose of Sharon teams with bountiful color in the full summer sun. The Hibiscus Chiffon™ series display lacy ruffles in the blooms centers and the Hibiscus Satin® series offers large tropical looking blooms.

Deer resistant Hibiscus forms an upright habit that can be used as specimens or hedges, in the back of the perennial border, or may be trained into a small tree. Hibiscus prefers a well-drained soil, blooms on new wood, and may be trimmed to shape in early spring or late fall.
