Hydrangea serrata is native to mountainous regions of Asia and Japan and is an amazing rebloomer that is well suited to colder climates. Tiny Tuff Stuff™ grows only 18-24 inches tall forming a compact habit of hardy stems that hold up beautiful lace-cap flowers. The slightly downward arching blooms of Tiny Tuff Stuff™ form doubled sepals in soft shades of blue, pink, and white aging to an attractive pink for sophisticated garden landscape. Tiny Tuff Stuff™ Hydrangea may be planted in full sun to part shade and flowers on new and old wood so prune after flowering until about mid-August to allow time for new buds to set prior to winter.
