(Oakleaf Hydrangea) A dream come true! Gatsby’s Moon™ Hydrangea flaunts tightly packed double florets that are conical in shape and brilliant white in color fading to soft green as the bloom ages. Standing 6-10 feet tall, Gatsby’s Moon™ is an impressive focal point in the landscape and is a more weather/water resistant Oakleaf Hydrangea variety. In the fall the green foliage turns a beautiful burgundy color extending the season of interest. Plant Gatsby’s Moon™ in full sun to part shade in a moist well-drained location. Gatsby’s Moon™ may require some winter protection in northern climates and blooms on old growth so trim after the flowering season. Fertilize in early spring with a slow release fertilizer for shrubs and trees. Follow the label for recommended rate of application.
