The compact habit of Sugar Baby, standing only 18-30" tall is a great addition to smaller gardens. As with all the Forsythia in the Show Off™ series, Sugar Baby blooms deep yellow flowers from base to tip, even though it is a miniature variety, it will give you a huge display of spring color. Even though Show Off™ Sugar Baby is a dwarf variety, it still has the same upright mounding habit. Even though this size Forsythia rarely needs pruning, Forsythia bloom on old wood, so it is recommended to trim this shrub after it is done blooming for the season.
