(Pearl Bush) Snow Day™ Surprise is flooded with large white flowers in early spring! This is a stronger grower than old fashioned Pearl-Bush, with a neater, more compact habit.  Snow Day™ Surprise is  a cross between Exochorda x macrantha ‘The Bride’ and E. racemosa. The results are larger flowers and a more compact, broadly upright growth habit. Pearl-Bush is an old favorite for use in beds and borders. Great intermixed into a perennial border or when used in mass planting as a taller-style ground cover. Also plant to cover a bank or hill or near the edge of a pond. Snow Day™ Surprise is easy to grow and adaptable to most soils, but prefers well-drained acidic soil.
