Plant Description

(Dogwood) Arctic Sun™ is a remarkable dwarf blood twig Native Dogwood that fits right into today's gardens and landscapes.  It's extremely beautiful in the winter, in which adds a unique flare to your garden with its yellow stems with blood red tips.  Arctic Sun™ is roughly 1/3 the height of the typical Dogwood and has twice as many branches.  In the garden it provides more color because it has more stems.  Its rich green foliage is soft and warm during the summer months.  If needed, pruning should be done immediately after flowering, because it sets flower buds in summer months for the next year blooms.  Its dwarf and compact habit allows you to plant anywhere in the garden.  Proven to be a superior disease resistance shrub, used for borders and hedges, masses and groupings, and winter gardens.  Bring the outdoors in... cut stems for use in flower arrangements. Arctic Sun™ Cornus is a Deer resistant Shrub! Introduction Year: 2006 Patent Strings: Arctic Sun™ Cornus sanguinea 'Cato' PP: 19892 Can. PBRAF
