It is frost tolerant, non-invasive and very easy to grow. It is also drought resistant and deer resistant. 'Blue Chip' can be used in a perennial or shrub border, in masses or groupings, as a low hedge or in containers. Perfect for smaller gardens. Dies back to the ground in the northern states (roots are hardy). In the South, cut back to 12” if desired.
