Lycium superfruits are a great addition for the health conscious gardener. Lycium Gojo Berries are rich in antioxidants and can be eaten fresh or dried and used as a sweet snack similar to raisins. Summer blooms develop into orange/red berries that line the stems and may be harvested from August to the first hard frost. Staking Lycium will help to maximize access to the fruit. Goji Berries are easy to grow, deer resistant, and require full sun. Once Lycium is established it is best to prune in the winter but may be lightly trimmed at any time.
