Spiraea - Double Play™ Artist Spirea

You will love this plant from the moment it flushes in the spring. Its blue-green foliage emerges a rich purple-red setting it apart from all other Spirea. The flowers are purple and bloom in the spring and continue until frost. This plant is compact with a full-bodied mound shape. Double Play™ Artist is a solid replacement for 'Anthony Waterer' Spiraea. Fertilize in early spring by applying a slow release fertilizer specialized for trees & shrubs. Follow the label for recommended rate of application. Plant as a specimen plant, or in groupings, and shrub borders.
