Itea - Little Henry® Sweetspire

If burning bush has good fall color, then this plant is a wildfire! Little Henry® has fantastic blood red autumn foliage that is very persistent. It's a low mounded, compact Sweetspire that has lightly scented, pure white flowers that shoot like fireworks in the early summer horizon. It will grow in full sun or full shade, and requires no maintenance, expect very minimum pruning. What more could you want in a plant? Little Henry® is a useful native plant with lots of potential for the home landscape. Maturing at less than 3 feet tall, Little Henry® is useful as a taller style ground cover suitable for mass plantings, such as flooding large banks, or for surrounding the edge of a pond. It is also a delightful addition to flower beds and shrub borders, or to intermix into a perennial border. Excellent choice for combining with hosta and other big leafed plants.
