The variegated leaves of the Hebe are alive with color all summer long, turning purple to red in the cold weather of winter. Blue and purple flowers make their appearance in summer. From its appearance you would never guess that the Hebe is an evergreen!

In zones 8 – 10 the Hebe will thrive, reaching heights of about 2 – 3 feet, and from 3 to 4 feet across. Full sun and well-drained soil are a must to get the most out of this gorgeous shrub.
