One of the major pitfalls of some Hydrangea shrubs is that they create their flowering buds early in the fall and must be overwintered before blooming the following summer. Any number of factors could destroy those delicate buds, rendering the shrub bloomless. Not so with the Hardy Hydrangea collection. These beauties form flowering buds at the start of the summer season and then bloom.
The Hardy Hydrangea is well suited to full sun to partial shade in zones 3 – 9. While it is a dwarf variety, you will enjoy copious amounts of white and pink flower clusters from summer to fall.
