A deciduous shrub with glossy foliage Button Bush varieties may range from 3-12 feet in height and may be planted in sun to part shade. In summer, Cephalanthus produces long lasting fragrant spherical flowers that resemble pincushions with its fringe of pistils and attracts butterflies and hummingbirds.
