One look at the Button Bush will tell you where it got its name, but with just one look you would miss a color show that is unrivaled in many garden and landscape plants. The Sugar Shack™ Cephanthus produces lively red leaves in the spring that turn green before returning to a vibrant burgundy in the fall. Even the heady white blooms will turn bright red as the summer wanes.

The Button bush prefers the moist ground and sun or partial shade of zones 4 – 10. They commonly reach between 3 and 4 feet at maturity and will do best if trimmed annually in early spring.
