The prolific green fernlike foliage of the Fine Line Buckthorn will turn a vibrant, buttery yellow in fall. It is equally stunning when used in the landscape as a privacy hedge or as the show stopper in a container design. Excellent for use to flank walkways or doorways.

The Buckthorn is hardy for zones 2 – 7 in sun or partial shade. It will grow to a mature height ranging between 5 and 7 feet tall, but can be easily shaped and maintained to most any size needs. The Buckthorn grows best in moist, well-drained soil until established at which time it will handle drought conditions quite well.
