Weigela - Wine & Roses®

(Weigela) Romantic! Intoxicating, dark burgundy leaves that shimmer like a fine wine!  Wine & Roses® Weigela hot rosy-pink tubular flowers add a touch of romance. This Weigela produces an abundant amount of flowers in spring, and will re-bloom throughout the summer. The rich dark burgundy foliage of  Wine & Roses® is much darker than that of older varieties, such as 'Java Red' Weigela. The foliage contrasts beautifully with the rosy-pink flowers, making for a high impact display in the garden. Plant in full sun for darkest color leaves. It is fast growing and trouble free. Wine & Roses® Weigela can be enjoyed as either an accent plant or used for mass plantings. Hummingbirds adore its tubular flowers!
