Weigela - Fine Wine™

(Weigela) Like a fine wine this Weigela has good body! Fine Wine™ is a compact well-branched, mounded plant with hot pink tubular flowers. The pink flowers are extremely adored by butterflies and hummingbirds.   Fine Wine™ Weigelas foliage color is similar to that of a fine wine as well, nice and dark burgundy like a cabernet wine. No wonder the name is Fine Wine™. This variety should be first choice when you are looking for a Weigela. With slight shearing this plant will re-bloom throughout the summer. The branches can be cut and used very effectively in floral arrangements. This great plant is good in shrub borders, groupings, masses, as a specimen, and in containers. When used in large masses the color impact is very impressive.
