Viburnum - Red Balloon™ Viburnum

 (Viburnum) From a distance Red Balloon™ Viburnum appears to have loads of large red blossoms, but upon closer inspection you will notice these clusters are of bright red berries. Red Balloon™ is a very attractive shrub and easy to grow. It has a compact, rounded, upright, well branched habit that hold the abundance of tightly packed berry clusters in the late summer and well into fall. Red Balloon™ Viburnum gives a little show in the spring also with its crisp white flowers that appear in late spring. Beauty attracts beauty so don't be surprised when you see the butterflies checking it out. Viburnum Red Balloon™ is best suited in a part to full sun location with slight acidic soil that is moist and well drained. This Viburnum shrub blooms on old wood so it is recommended to trim to shape after it is done flowering.
