Thuja - Techny Gold™ Arborvitae

(Thuja) Techny Gold™ Arborvitae is a colorful native evergreen that has showy, rich golden foliage. Unlike other golden Arborvitae varieties, Techny Gold™ actually shows improved, more intense gold color in the winter. ‘Techny’ has long been regarded as the hardiest, most rugged of all the Arborvitae. In testing Techny Gold™ has never shown any winter burn or discoloration. Once it’s established it can tolerate, drought, heat, and limestone soils. It can easily be incorporated into existing conifer plantings for a burst of bright color. Use it to create shelterbelts, or for screening, and as a specimen or accent plant. Techny Gold™ is also hardy enough to survive most climates in a pot. Evergreen.
