Spiraea - Double Play® Big Bang Spiraea

(Spiraea) Double Play® Big Bang has massive pink flowers of a size never seen before on a Spiraea. The foliage holds beautiful color all season long. Its adorning bright yellow summer foliage glows a dark orange in the spring and then to golden orange in the fall. Double Play®  is an outstanding landscape plant! Adaptable and easy to grow, full sun is ideal but will tolerate partial shade. Tuck it into your existing mixed border or use it as a mass planting. Very little maintenance is needed. To promote flowering, remove faded flower clusters. Pruning is best done after blooming in mid-summer. Fertilize in early spring by applying a slow release fertilizer specialized for trees & shrubs. Follow the label for recommended rate of application.
