Rhamnus - Fine Line® Buckthorn

(Rhamnus) One of the coolest plants to hit the market in years! Fine Line® is a responsible and environmentally friendly replacement for weedy, older Rhamnus varieties. The result in a university study showed that Fine Line® has a meager 3% germination rate compare to the species that germinated at 98%. This plant has great architecture and texture. Fine Line® is a cross and a combination between a columnar shape and a feathery leaf form of Buckthorn. The fern-like foliage is green in color throughout the spring and summer, and then it turns to a wonderful butter yellow color for the autumn. This is an extremely useful plant, create narrow hedges or screens, or use as an accent specimen, or grow in a patio container. The unique texture and narrow habit also makes it a great choice for framing in pathways or entranceways.
