Humulus - Summer Shandy™ Hops

(Ornamental Hops) Humulus Summer Shandy™ is a new Hops in town. Generally when you think of Hops you think of beer, but Summer Shandy™ has been specially bred for its ornamental qualities. The bright golden yellow foliage of this Hops vine gives you seasonal interest all season long. It is best to 'train' your decrotive vines up a trellis, wire or string to keep it where you want it.  Summer Shandy™ has been bred to have a nice habit that is less aggressive than many other varieties. Grown in full sun to part shade, Summer Shandy™ Hops can reach 5-12' tall. Hops can be used as a specimen plant, for vertical interest, or in container plantings. Cut down in the fall after the leaves have fallen. Summer Shandy™ is a great thriller to add to you gardens.
