Cornus - Pucker Up!™ Dwarf Dogwood

(Dwarf  Red Twig Dogwood) The amazing texture of Cornus Pucker Up!™ is like no other. The attractive foliage has a very distinct look; the glossy, thick, ridged leaves are a sure show stopper. Because of the thick foliage, Pucker Up!™ has shown a high level of leaf spot resistance. Not only does Pucker Up!™ have great foliage interest, the bright red twigs make for a beautiful show in the winter.  The red contrasts beautifully against the bright white of winter's snow. Or you may also use the twigs for indoor floral arrangements. The compact size of Pucker Up!™ reaching only 3-4' in height, make this American native plant a beautiful addition to your landscapes or foundation planting. Dogwood is best suited for a full sun to part shade location. We recommend that if you are in zone 8 that part shade may be a better option. Pucker Up!™ blooms midsummer with white flowers, these flowers bloom off of the old wood so we recommend trimming after your shrub has flowered. Cornus is adaptable to many growing conditions but is best suited in moist locations, even in swampy soils.
