Berberis - Sunjoy® Citrus Barberry

(Barberry) The Sunjoy® Barberry family is expanding!  Sunjoy® Citrus is a refreshing new barberry, with its bright chartreuse greenish yellow foliage.  Standing a mere 2-3' tall, Sunjoy® Citrus has a compact branching habit that makes this a very full and tidy plant. The round habit leaves you with a symmetrical ball shaped plant. Pruning is not necessary, but if you desire you may trim Sunjoy® Citrus during the summer.  Use Sunjoy® Citrus in landscapes for borders, groupings, mass planting, and in foundation plantings. Citrus Barberry grows well in most conditions but does prefer to be planted in a well drained area.  The durable color of Sunjoy® Citrus  was tested for 5 years in full sun to verify its excellent resistance to burn. This is not true of all yellow barberries! Barberry adds season long color to your landscapes.  Sunjoy® Citrus Barberry is another in our great line of deer resistant shrubs.
